Laura Emelina Salazar de Martínez was born in Metapan, Santa Ana El Salvador on April 7, 1980. She was born to her mother, Ana Miriam Sandoval, and her father, Mauricio Salazar. She was approximately 4 years old when she moved to Santa Ana and completed her school at Colegio Bautista.
When she was 8 years old, she and her family were baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Since then, she always had an incredible testimony of Jesus Christ and eternal families, so she decided to make her own eternal family.
On December 17, 1998 she civilly married Luis Alfredo Martinez Sanchez and on December 18 of the same year they were sealed for eternity in the temple in Guatemala City.
On October 9, 1999 her first daughter, Laura Elisa Martínez Salazar, was born.
When Laura was pregnant with her second daughter, she attended college to get her degree. She was very studious and at the same time very responsible in her home.
On November 18, 2007, Alisson Valeria Martínez Salazar was born.
Years later Laura graduated with honors from the Francisco Gavidia University with a degree in Business Administration.
Her youngest child is named Jeffrey Jared Martínez Salazar and was born on November 23, 2009.
From that time, we managed to have many special adventures as a family.
Our dear Laura loved serving in the church and anywhere she could, she also had the opportunity to serve for a time as a worker in the El Salvador Temple. She always liked to tell us how much she loved spending her time in the temple.
We could always hear about the amazing things she was doing in her jobs.
The way she demonstrated her testimony of Jesus Christ was by serving others. To name an important event in her service, she did what her family did for her by caring for her husband's aunt, bathing her, washing her clothes, feeding her, and making her feel her love through her patient and loving care.
This person has already passed the veil and will surely be thanking you for what you did for her in life.
She made sure her mother-in-law received a gift every holiday, her birthday, Mother's Day, Christmas, and even just when she knew her mother-in-law needed something.
She had the ability to remember the birthdays of our family and friends and made sure that all of us could congratulate and greet them on their special day.
