On November 13, 1973, a spark made her way into this world, and for almost 49 years we were blessed with her presence.
On May 13, 2022, Laurie Elaine Leech returned to our Father in Heaven. She is now able to be at peace, while getting our places ready for us to join her once again. Laurie is the brightest smile in every room and always the best to laugh with. When you have a conversation with her you know that she is fully invested and listening because of how much she truly cared about the people in her life. She was an amazing sister, aunt, best friend, and partner.
Laurie is survived by her sisters, Michele Swigert, Rhonda Swigert-Eddy, Belinda Thames, and Chantai Ward; her partner of 6 years, Phil Pegnato and his 2 boys, Vinny and Louie. JD Davis was like a son to her. She always referred to him as “My JD”, as well as her 2 stepsons, Michael Leech, his son, Brayden, and Clint (Christy) Leech, and daughters, Sophie and Charley. She also lives on through several nieces and nephews that she loved as her own children.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Lindquist’s Syracuse Mortuary (869 South 2000 West, Syracuse, Utah). Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the memorial account for Laura E. Leech at Goldenwest Credit Union. Please use the name Chantai Ward (Laura’s sister) when looking up the account.
