Laura Jean Nardone

Laura Jean Nardone, 57, passed away on April 17, 2016 peacefully in her sleep at the home of her sister and brother-in-law.   She was born September 20, 1958 in Peoria, Illinois to Alden Jr. and Fran Nott.  Laura is survived by her Dad of Fernley, NV; brothers and sisters: Karen McFarland, Tom Nott, Steve Nott, and Patty Brown.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved her dearly.  Laura’s mother preceded her in death.

Laura loved her extended family, as well as her two pugs, D.O.G and Amber Lynn.  She worked in Medical Billing in Reno, NV prior to her ongoing and many battles with cancer.  Laura enjoyed spending her time off working with Special Olympics Children’s programs and crafting jewelry for family and friends.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
