Laureen “Lauri” Anne Ness Cower

April 12, 1959 ~ May 30, 2020

Lauri passed away at home in her sleep on May 30, 2020 in Ogden, Utah. She was born in Slayton, MN on May 12, 1959, to Loren Ness and Janet White. She graduated from Pacific School in San Bernadino, California in 1977.

She lived in Southern California until 1992 and then moved to Ogden, Utah. Lauri was a homemaker until her children were grown and she went to work as a Baker and Smith’s Food and Drug.

Lauri is survived by her two sons, Billy Cower and Brian Cower of Ogden, UT; her brother, Rodney Ness of San Francisco, CA; her granddaughter, Danika Cower and daughter-in-law, Nickole Cower of Ogden, UT; and a longtime significant other, Leon Rucker of Ogden, UT.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet White; her father, Loren Ness; and her brother, Daniel Ness.

Lauri has chosen to be cremated. The family will have a memorial at a later date.

The family would like to thank every that helped Lauri over the years, including the Rucker family and the Brandley family.
