Laurel Ann Lundgreen

Laurel Ann Bass Lundgreen, 50, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2009 at her home.

She was born May 5, 1959 in Misawa, Japan to Horace "Sam" and Colleen Bingham Bass. Her father was in the service so she was raised and educated in various areas of the United States.

On July 21, 1978, Laurel married Leland Lundgreen in Elko, Nevada.

Laurel had worked at Burns until 1991 then she went to work at Pinkerton until 1996. Currently she was employed at Citigroup in customer service.

She was meticulous in all that she did, inside and out making sure everything was in it''s place. She loved her garden.

Laurel is survived by her husband, Leland; a son, Jeremy Lundgreen, Clearfield; a daughter, Mandy (Domingo) Celis, Ogden; seven grandchildren; her father, Horace "Sam" Bass, West Point; a brother, Gary G. (Gina) Bass, Indiana and a sister, Carleen Ricks, Roy.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Colleen, a sister, Christine Thorton and a brother, James Bass.

A celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday, September 2nd from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Laurel''s family wishes to acknowledge her courageousness in donating her body for research.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that contributions be made to offset expenses.
