Lauri Ann Brown, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on October 30, 2024, in Ogden, Utah. She was born on August 8, 1973, in Emmett, Idaho, to Vicki (McKeeth) and Larry Brown. Lauri grew up in Boise, Idaho and Roy, Utah, where she graduated from Roy High School in 1991 and later attended Weber State University.
For nearly 25 years, Lauri dedicated herself to a fulfilling career with the Federal Government, with her most recent role being a program analyst at the Bureau of Reclamation. Her work and commitment left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the organization.
Lauri found joy in crafts, scrapbooking, shopping, gardening, reading, and cooking. Her creativity and warmth were evident in all she did, whether she was tending her garden, preparing a meal for loved ones, or crafting a personalized greeting card. A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lauri served faithfully in many callings, most recently as a primary teacher, where she cherished teaching and guiding young members of her church community.
Lauri is survived by her mother Vicki, stepfather Dale, and stepmother Mary Ann; her siblings David, Michelle, Melissa, Greg, Amy, and Amanda; and a large and loving family of 22 nieces and nephews and 5 grand-nieces and grand-nephews, with 2 more on the way. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Brown and her grand niece Elly Brey Trujillo.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Ogden Regional Medical Center Physical Therapy Acute Rehabilitation Unit and their amazing staff and doctors for the kind and gentle care they provided Lauri in her last days.
