February 18, 1958 a€" April 28, 2008 Born February 18, 1958 to Howard and Julia Mary Graham Albrechtsen in Salt Lake City Utah. Being the youngest of 4 children, Laurie moved with her family at a very young age to Clearfield, Utah. She attended school in Clearfield and graduated from Clearfield High School in 1976. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications and Public Relations in 1994.

Laurie met and married her soul mate, James G. Hebert III in 1996. They were married in a small ceremony in Elko, Nevada, September 11, 1996. They lived in Layton, Utah with her only son for many years. Laurie worked with Special Needs individuals from grade school to adults in group homes. She loved her work very much. She accepted a position in Vernal, Utah when there was need of someone with her special talents and the love she had to share. Because of Laurie''s adventurous personality, she moved to Palisade, Colorado in 2007. She loved the Grand Valley very much and could be seen around the valley, taking pictures of the beautiful springtime blossoms and many of the events happening around Palisade.

Laurie was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she participated in as many church activities as she could.

Laurie was preceded in death by her father Howard Sr.; mother Julia, and 1 brother, Carl Bert Albrechtsen. She is survived by her loving husband, James G. Hebert III, only son Allyn Howard Albrechtsen, stepmother Lila Seely Albrechtsen, 2 sisters, Susan (Bruce) Anderson, Katherine Seely, 1 brother, Howard (Howie) (Donnett) Albrechtsen. She is also survived by 11 beloved nieces and nephews, 21 great-nieces and great-nephews, and too many to count friends. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 6th, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah. Friends and family may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

There will also be a memorial service held at the 9th Ward LDS chapel, 3076 E-1/2 Road, Grand Junction, Colorado on Friday, May 9th from 6 to 8 pm.

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
