LAURIE ANN HOLSTON

OGDEN - Laurie Ann Holston, 41, born March 26, 1971, passed away at home with her family present on May 12, 2012.

She was born and raised in Ogden, then moved to California at the age of 18, where she raised her family. She then returned to Utah in 2005. She attended Ben Lomond High School and was a member of the LDS Church.

Laurie is survived by her close companion Enrique E. Ramirez; children Andy Gil (Reba Martinez); Athena Moreno; Enrique Ramirez; and Juan Daniel Ramirez; five very special grandchildren; her four sisters Dixie, Brenda, Lupe, and Angel; her two brothers Jerrel and Lito; all of Utah. She has many nephews and nieces that were dear to her. Closest to her heart was her niece, Melissa and her nephew, David, and her two special ex-brothers-in-law, Rafael Mora and Tom Pendley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Della Valdez and Pete Holston.

In lieu of flowers, a car wash will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012, from 12 to 3 p.m. on 12th Street and Childs in order to collect donations to help out her children. On Sunday, May 20 from 3 to 5 p.m., a dinner will be held in Laurie''s honor at 200 17th Street and Lincoln Avenue in Ogden. Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
