Lavon Larsen

December 6, 1931 — January 28, 2020

After waiting 34 years, they have finally been reunited!!!

Lavon Anne Larsen, age 88, passed away peacefully January 28, 2020, surrounded by her family. Lavon was born on December 6, 1931 in Ogden, Utah to George L. Pedersen and Anne E. Andersen.

Lavon graduated from Ogden High School in 1949 and married the love of her life and best friend to Frederick Theodore Larsen Jr. on July 9, 1949.  Ted and Lavon were married for 37 years and built a wonderful life together with complete devotion.  Lavon was a devoted musician, playing with the Ogden Organ Club for many years. She had a breathtaking skill for painting and had a natural talent for floral arrangements. She was very proud of her family and truly enjoyed spending hours telling and listening to family memories.  Lavon was known for her kind, spunky, yet charming personality. She will be missed by all that knew her and loved her.

She taught us that in every moment there is beauty, if we only open our eyes.  Her art and music, gave us all a glimpse into a beautiful soul.”

Together Ted and Lavon had four beautiful children, Douglas Ted Larsen of Layton, UT; Lorraine Larsen-White (Curt White) of Molina, Co; Tamara (Royce) Daugherty of Divide, CO; Bruce (Lisa) Larsen of Moses Lake, WA. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Nancy Lunnen, step-sister Pat Watkins, half-sister Karen Turpin and half-brothers, Ronnie Pedersen and Paul Pedersen (deceased).

We would like to thank Onecare Home Health & Hospice for all the love and care they provided.
