LaVon Nuse
Lula LaVon Nuse, 96, died peacefully at home on May 25, 2017. She was born August 7, 1920, to LeRoy Alder Hudson and Clara Rollins in Cardston, Alberta, Canada. She married George Henry Nuse November 9, 1940 in Montana.
LaVon was a world traveler while George was in the Army. They lived in Japan, Germany, Montana, 32 years in Tucson, Arizona, and eleven years in Everett, Washington before settling in Layton, Utah for the last three years. She was active in the LDS Church and held many callings. She loved reading and sewing and enjoyed the sports of golf and bowling. Most of all she loved taking care of her home and family.
LaVon is survived by her children; Richard (Connie) Nuse, Sandra (Terry) Foust, Robin (Mark) Love, thirteen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and two sisters; Kathleen Reid, and Jeanine Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Nuse and son, Donald.
Graveside services will be held June 10 at the Fort Missoula Cemetery, Missoula, Montana.
