“God knew you were suffering, that the hills were hard to climb, so He gently closed your eyelids, and whispered, it will be ok. In tears we watched you sinking, we watched you fade away ~ our hearts were nearly broken, you fought so hard to stay. We stood beside you all the way, and gave you all our hope. The courage and the STRENGTH, you showed, will NEVER be forgotten. We cried the day you left us, but we know you needed to. God knew you were suffering, so he gently took you home. We love you with all our hearts and you will be deeply missed."
A celebration of life will take place in the spring.
A special thank you to Atlas Hospice for their help and support.
In lieu of flowers, the family is setting up a GoFundMe https://gofund.me/e9f3c60c to help pay on some of Lavon’s medical bills. If preferred, a Venmo account is set up @Julie-Funke-5
