On the evening of March 19, 2023, Lea Francis Palamara passed away in Clearfield, Utah, at the age of 75, after a long, hard battle with cancer. Lea was born on July 1, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York, and was raised alongside her two brothers Pino and Cosmo Blangiforti, by their mother Francis Sparano, and step-father Pat Sparano.
Lea was an exceptional mother, grandmother, and great friend to all. She loved watching NASCAR, which was her favorite, but you’d always find her watching Judge Judy, or some sort of cooking show. She always loved to be riding on the back of a Harley, playing card games, especially Skip-bo with her family, or driving her Mustang. Lea was the biggest family person and was always there to provide love and support no matter what, and always put everyone else before herself. She will be deeply missed by many, and no words can express the type of loss we feel. She may not be here with us anymore, but she will always be a part of everything we do.
Lea is survived by her two children, Richard Palamara (Rick), and Sandra Powers, her six grandchildren, Zackery Havens (Zack), Chelsea Solares, Larisa Havens, David Powers (D.J.), Austin Powers, Cody Powers, and her five great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother Francis Sparano, her former husband Joseph Palamara, and her two former loves Robert Parks and Dennis Talbot.
