HOOPER – LeAnna Rosetta Talbot Walker, 84, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 7, 1929 in Roy, Utah to Loren and Lelah Hammon Talbot. She graduated from Weber High School.
On February 21, 1947, LeAnna married Don Carlos Walker in Roy, Utah. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.
She was employed for many years at Sierra Apparel as a seamstress.
LeAnna was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints where she served in various callings. Her most recent calling was Choir Director and she loved conducting the choir.
She enjoyed sewing and especially loved spending time with her beautiful grandchildren.
LeAnna is survived by her husband; their children, Mac (Vicki) Walker, Rick (Lorna) Walker, Dianna (Kenneth) Howell, Cindy (Charles) Blair, Debbie Jones, Wendy (Mike) Nixon; 29 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, with three more on the way; one brother, Boyd (Luda) Talbot, and two sisters, Claudine Miller and KayLynne Descoteaux.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jedidiah Talbot, grandson Dan Walker, great-granddaughter Mikelle McDonald, and two great-grandsons, Jaxson Howell and Michael Blair.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 23rd at 11 a.m. at the Homestead Ward Chapel, 5375 South 5900 West, Hooper.
The family will meet with friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
