Lee Ann Munson Premo
September 13, 1954 ~ November 28, 2017
Lee Ann Munson Premo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on November 28, 2017 surrounded by her family after a courageous year-long battle with endometrial cancer.
Lee Ann was born in Ogden, Utah on September 13, 1954 to Leo and Emma Munson. She attended Ogden City Schools, Polk Elementary, Mount Ogden Junior High, and graduated from Ogden High School. She worked for nearly 20 years with TRW at Hill Air Force Base, and graduated with honors from Weber State University in 1995, earning her bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Computer Science.
Lee Ann married Steven Brann in1974 and during their eight years together they had two children, Chad and Andrea. In 1989 she met the love of her life, Raymond Premo, standing by the copy machine at work at Hill Air Force Base. Ray and Lee Ann were married on September 6, 1989 during a beautiful beach ceremony in Kauai, Hawaii.
As a child Lee Ann loved spending time looking at things in nature and rescued many potato bugs. She’d frequently stop and peer at flowers and rocks and those rocks would come home in her pockets where her mother would find them clanging around in the washing machine. Lee Ann would often fill the sink with rocks and other treasures so she could clean them up and make them beautiful.
Later in life she would fill the sink with other treasures, cleaning and identifying the antiques and collectibles she found from different swap meets and antique stores across the United States. She developed that hobby into a thriving business when she opened her own shop, The Timeless Attic, on Historic 25th Street in 2005. Her antiques and her shop were her life’s passion and she continued working at the shop for as long as her health would allow.
Lee Ann loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She made every holiday and every birthday special, always giving sweet treats, cards, and gifts. Trips to Dinosaur Park, celebrating events and eating out at different restaurants with grandma were always special experiences for her family. She will be remembered for her generous nature, her bright mind, and most importantly her loving heart.
Lee Ann is survived by her husband, Raymond Premo; her children, Chad (Angela) Brann and Andrea (Chad) Barker; stepchildren, Paul (Elvie) Premo, Joann Premo, and Sharon (Alan) Cox; sisters, Laurel (Walt) Bain and Lynn Munson; brother, Kevin (Jody) Munson; grandchildren, Ethan, Noah, and Aaron Barker, Canyon and Ryker Brann, Chandler Loveless, Camille and Bianca Premo, and Jordan and Teagan Cox; and countless friends who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Emma Munson and her beloved pet Australian Shepherd, Aussie.
