WEST POINT – Lee G. Lund, 90, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 31, 2013.
He was born February 24, 1923 in Soldier Summit, Utah to Neil Christian and Onez Emily Taylor Lund.
On June 12, 1944, Lee married Elda Moss in San Francisco, California. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He had a passion for cooking, working with wood and keeping his yard beautiful took up most of his free time. Lee served faithfully in the Navy in W.W.II. He was a wonderful father and his family was the center of his life.
Lee was a faithful member of the LDS Church where he served in many positions.
Lee is survived by his four sons; Gary (Donna) Lund, Dale (Debbie) Lund, Randy (Chris) Lund, Robert (Karen) Lund, two daughters; Kalleen (Frank) Russell, Karlan (Curtis) Ewell; 23 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is brother, Karl (Carol) Lund and sisters Geraldene Wills and Zelda Morgan. Preceded in death by his wife Elda, two brothers, five sisters and two grandsons.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the West Point Cemetery, 40 North 4000 West. Friends may visit with family Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, Roy, Utah.
