“Lee” Frances Lazare Youse
OGDEN - Lee Youse, an extraordinary woman who placed others first and devoted herself to her family, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 31, 2008.
Lee was born in 1927 and raised in Millville, Utah where she attended and graduated from South Cache High School.
She spent many years as a full-time homemaker before joining the workforce for several years as a sales clerk in women’s clothing.
Lee enjoyed gardening and reading, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She could never spoil her grandchildren or great-grandchild too much.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years and the love of her life, Walter E. Youse of Roy, Utah; son, Dan W. Youse and daughter-in-law, Susan Youse; son-in-law, Mark Decaria; four grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Youse and Stefanie and Angie Decaria; great-grandchild, Kaitlynn Youse; sisters, Lu Larson and Barbara Martin; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Marion Jessop; brothers, Richard and Robert Jessop; daughter, Tracy Decaria; and grandson, Alexander Decaria.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary at 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Saturday from 1 to 1:45 p.m.
Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
