Leeta Jeannine (Daley) Hill passed peacefully January 10, 2010, in the presence and love of her husband and children.
Leeta spent her life dedicated to the care, loving, and feeding of her family, whether family by blood, or by the bonds of her love.
A native of Arizona, she was born in Miami Inspiration Hospital Feb 20, 1929, and raised in Claypool and Tempe.
She raised her own family (including Jim) in Phoenix, then moved to North Ogden, her adopted 2nd home. Cherished bride of James Hill for six decades, loving mother and fierce guardian of children Alan Hill, Linda Diefenbach, Larry Hill, and Debra Grimm, plus son and daughter by marriage, Klaus Diefenbach and Annie Toombs. Proud grandmother of four grandsons, Neil, Elton, and Eric Grimm and Erik Diefenbach, and beloved "GG" to great grandchildren Rayce and Aria Grimm.
Also survived by brother, Jim Daley, lifelong sister and friend, Juanita Paul, OD Cathi, and nieces, nephews, and cousins who share our lifetime of memories.
Preceded in passing by parents Delbert and Elsie (Bowman) Daley and brother Donald Daley.
A celebration of her life will be held January 16, 2010, with sharing of memories to begin at 2:30 sharp. Call 801-786-8575 for location.
Our eternal gratitude to her wonderful care providers at McKay Dee Hospital during her final days on this earth. "...Her diminished size is in me--not in her. And, just at the moment when someone says, ''There she is gone,'' there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, ''Here she comes!'' " Our love for her will surpass eternity.
"See you later, Sweetheart-you are the love of my life!" "Love you, Mom!!"
