Leland Joseph Ogg was taken from us much too soon on Sunday, February 8, 2015, from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.

Lee was born March 3, 1979 in Ogden, Utah to Dennis D. and Teresa Ogg (now Teresa Payne).

He married Shawntae Reichard whose son, Taeden Olsen became just like Lee’s own. He and Shawntae were then blessed with two daughters, Sade and Ivy. He loved his girls with all his heart and they loved him right back.

Lee loved hunting, fishing and music was his life. He had a really cool, fun personality and was very funny. He could make everyone laugh and enjoyed laughing with them. We will miss his kindness and his big, big heart.

Lee is survived by his parents, Dennis D. and Charlotte Ogg, Bill and Teresa Payne, his brothers, Michael Hall, Brock Hansen, Dustin Ogg, Colton Ogg and his sisters Melanie Payne, Rae Ann Christensen and Chanda Sales, grandparents Gill and Betty Ogg and Sandra Summers. He is also survived by Jena Vance who was the recent love of his life. He was preceded in death by his step brother, Billy Payne.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. The family will meet with friends from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Lee’s life after the funeral at the VFW, 907 West 12th Street in Ogden at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in the name of Lee Ogg at any Wells Fargo Bank and America First CU location.
