Bountiful, Utah, February 21, 2008 a€" Leland Eldon Porter, Nearly 95, last survivor of the William Ira and Zina Porter family (6 daughters 2 sons) rejoined them and his wife in the spirit world. Born April 2, 1913 in Centerville, he married his Centerville sweetheart, Beth Grant, in the Salt Lake Temple July 3, 1936.

Living in Centerville and Bountiful, they raised five sons; Lee Grant (Janet), Roland (Lois), Brent (Cathy), David (Anna), Todd (Cami) and welcomed 24 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren into their family.

Leland was a Landscape Architect for 43 years; he was Nurseryman of the Year at retirement in 1979. He and Beth served in many callings in the LDS Church and in the Tennessee, Nashville Mission.

Respects may be paid at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. from 6-8 pm Sunday March 2 and Monday March 3, 2008 at Bountiful 16th Ward, 720 East 550 N. from 10:15 to 10:45 prior to funeral services at 11 a.m.

Interment Centerville Cemetery.
