Lelia Raylene Eriksson

September 4, 1942 — March 5, 2018

Clearfield – Lelia Raylene Chamberlain Eriksson, having fulfilled her mortal probation here upon earth, passed away at her daughter’s home on March 5, 2018.

Lelia Raylene Chamberlain Eriksson was born September 4, 1942 in Ogden, UT, the only daughter of James William Chamberlain and Nora Ilene Jacobs.  She was the second of four children.  Mother was a loving, strong, caring Christ like woman.  She married George Samuel Eriksson on November 8, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple for all time and eternity.  This union was blessed with two daughters. Mother was tender hearted towards everyone and never judge.  She had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and her savior Jesus Christ.

Raylene is survived by her two daughters Jamie Lynn Greenwood (Ryan) of Sandy, Kimberly Casey (Chris) of Clearfield; Her father James William Chamberlain, three brothers Dennis William, Robert Lynn, Greg J. one sister Darla Barnes; Two very special grandchildren Payton McKay Greenwood, Makayla Greenwood, four grand-dogs, and two great grand-dogs.  She is preceded in death by her husband George Samuel Eriksson and her mother Nora Ilene Jacobs Chamberlain.

Raylene served in many teaching positions within the Church.  She always enjoyed sharing the gospel with her neighbors, fellow sisters and family. Mom worked and retired from Clearfield City Police Department. This position allowed her to touch the lives of many who felt that their life meant very little. She was a fighter for the forgotten until the very end.
