Leola Brown, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend passed away on August 12, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones.
Mom was born on February 13, 1931 to Eldon C and Eva Kendall Taylor in Oxford, Idaho. She was raised in Preston, Idaho and Ogden, Utah.
On April fool’s day mom met the love of her life, James Brown, they were married on October 15, 1949. She spent the next 68 years caring for us six kids and her many grandkids.
She enjoyed camping on their property in Evergreen Estates where all the grandkids would go to grandma’s trailer for hot chocolate. She loved her trips to the casinos where she was always two steps ahead of dad. She spent many hours collecting music and books in which she read every one.

Jr., (Sandy) Brown, Rob (Pat), Rick (Barbi); daughters, Lorraine (Steve) Harden, Leann (Murray) Clark, Lori (Mike) Chacon; 23 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Mom is also survived by her two brothers, Harlen (Jan) Taylor and Joe Taylor. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, one great-grandson, parents, two brothers, and one sister.
