Leon Ronald Stark 1941 ~ 2007 KAYSVILLE – Leon Ronald Stark, 66, passed away Friday, October 5, 2007 at his home. Leon was born on March 26, 1941 in Los Angeles, CA the son of Evan J. and Ruth Parramore Stark. Leon married Pamela Dee Chipman on October 1, 1983 in Park City, Utah. They resided in Kaysville for the past 22 years. Leon served in the Navy during the Korean War, also Special Forces. He was a member of the LDS Church and the American Legion Post 87 where he was a service officer for many years. He was a true adventurer, skydiving, backpacking, skiing, flying, motorcycling, camping, fishing and golfing. Surviving are his wife Pamela, son Steven (Stephanie) Stark, Billings, MT; three daughters, Stacee (Bill) Seay, Aurora, ILL; Shelly Jolley, Delavan, WI; Shari (Fred) Russell, Helena, MT; Abby (Taylor) Hobson, Salt Lake City; one brother, Norman (Kate) Stark and loyal companions, Starky and Sylive Pearl (his pretty little girl). Preceded in death by his parents and sister. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the American Legion Post 87, 128 So. Main Street, Layton, Utah.
