Leona Jane Maguire

LAYTON – Leona Jane Maguire, 79, passed away January 27, 2017 after a long period of ill health.

She was born March 6, 1937 the daughter of Leo and Ollie Broome Hess in Leaday, Texas

Leona married Frank Maguire on January 26, 1981 in Washoe, Nevada. 

Leona was the co-owner of the Soda Bar in Yuba City and the Pudding and Pie in Marsville, California in the 1970’s and 1980’s.

She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Leona enjoyed cooking and reading.

Surviving are her husband Frank Maguire, son Darin Williams, Salt Lake City, UT; daughters, Debbie Freeman, Fortuna, CA; Diane Stillwell, Mammoth, CA; Kim Shore, Salt Lake City, UT; and sister Jean Chastain, Yuba City, CA.

Preceded in death by her son Kevin Williams.
