FARR WEST a€" Leora Jane Markland, 91, died Saturday, January 3, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born March 25, 1917 in Ogden, to Charles L. and Minnie V. Rose.

On January 28, 1937, Jane married Keith F. Markland. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Keith died on April 11, 1969.

She lived in Farr West for 70 years and was a member of the Farr West 1st LDS Ward.

She was a member of the Eagles for 50 years. Jane loved to play bingo and keno.

Surviving are the lights of her life, granddaughter Kari (Randy), and great-grandchildren Randy Flash, and Tessa Jane Gordon.

Preceding Jane in death are her husband, children Beth Kay King, Shannon and Leonard Markland, her parents and two sisters.

The family expresses special thanks to Kindred Keepers and Inspiration Hospice.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
