LeOra Garner McCrary, 86, passed away on her birthday Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at her home in Farr West, Utah of heart failure. She was born in Ogden, Utah the daughter of Dewey LaGrand and Thelma Garner.
She married Neil Sinclair McCrary on June 25, 1945 in the Salt Lake Temple.
She lived in Idaho, California, and most of her life in Utah.
LeOra was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended the Westwood Ward. She was a Relief Society Teacher, Primary Teacher, and Sunday School Teacher.
She worked at the Ogden Arsonal, and Christmas Box in Ogden. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, dancing, but most of all spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, three sons and two daughters, LaNeil and Phillip Jensen of Riverdale; Kathy and Don Arrowsmith of Clinton; Calvin and Marsi McCrary of Washington Terrace; David and Lori McCrary of Clearfield; and Phil McCrary of Riverdale; 21 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dee La Grand McCrary, and two sisters, and two great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
