Leotta Joye Hennefer Adams
LAYTON a" Leotta Joye Hennefer Adams, 73, passed away November 7, 2007 at her home. She was born March 22, 1934, the daughter of James and Ethel Morbey Hennefer in Devils Slide, Utah and spent the first 17 years of her life in Morgan.
She married Lynn H. Adams on June 4, 1952 in the Salt Lake Temple. He passed away January 9, 2000.
Joye was a member of the LDS Church, served in the Relief Society and MIA and was a temple worker for more than 20 years in the Ogden Temple. She was a member of the DUP. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and needlework. She worked at Smith''s Management and later for Johnson''s Control.
She is survived by sons Kelly H. (Lynann) Adams, Gilbert, AZ; B. A. (Paulette) Adams, West Haven, UT; Brent H. (Deborah) Adams, Syracuse, UT; daughter JoAnn (Gary) Oscarson, Farmington, UT; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and her sister Kate (Dave) Reid.
Predeced in death by her husband Lynn H. Adams, parents James and Ethel Hennefer, and sister Dorothy (Dot) Taylor.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
