Leslie Clark Anderson returned home Saturday, September 19, 2009. He was born May 20, 1953 in Ogden, Utah.

Les married his best friend, Julie Wright, on October 28, 1994 in the Salt Lake Temple.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and later owned an auto detailing business. He was an artist, inventor, fisherman, missionary and a prize-winning salsa and cake maker.

He had many challenges to face in life, but courageously found happiness in helping others and fighting for the underdog.

He is preceded in death by his mother Verna Lola Flitton Quest and his step-father Godfrey George Quest Jr.

He is survived by his wife Julie, and siblings Lesa Muldowney, Sidney (Aggie) Carter, Shanna (Jim) Prescott, M. Joseph Anderson, and Timothy (Rhonda) Anderson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

Family suggests a memorial donation may be made at America First Credit Union.
