Leslie JoAnn Ward

December 11, 1943 – October 2, 2021

Leslie JoAnn Ward - Mother, Grandmother, sister, and widow passed from us to join her husband Darreld L. Ward in the final embrace.

JoAnn graced us with her uplifting personality and love. She cared for everyone. She enjoyed family life and worked very hard to achieve that goal. JoAnn enjoyed fishing, camping, and cooking as she was always present with “the boys”, Darreld, Scott, and Jaydee. JoAnn enjoyed her Grandchildren Jadie Graham, H. Aspen Ward, Cody Foster, Michael Lewis, and Erica (Lewis) Barnett.

JoAnn loved her brothers Ralph Muir (Las Vegas), Myron Muir (Layton), Jon Muir (Layton), and sister Charlotte (Muir) Nye.

JoAnn was a very loving individual as she took in all that came to her for help. She cooked for thousands in the many Cafés around Davis County and in Manila, Utah.

JoAnn retired from Hill AFB, Department of the Army as an Inspector at 49 years old. She spent many years fishing and camping with her family and friends at her summer home at Lake Flaming Gorge.

Love and kindness are the only words you need to know about this GREAT woman, a gift from GOD.

She will be dearly missed always, but always and forever more shall her grave be marked with flowers.
