LAYTON a€" Lewis A. Tracy, 43, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010 at his home.

He was born November 30, 1966 in Idaho Falls, Idaho the son of Russell and Wanda Lewis Tracy.

Lewis married Maria Newman on August 23, 1997 in Ashton, Idaho.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and U. S. Army.

Lewis was a member of the VFW, POW M.I.A. Org. and Relay for Life.

He enjoyed Karaoke, was a D.J. motorcycle riding and loved to do woodworking.

Surviving are his wife Maria, Layton; son Blaine (Kellyn) Reed, Island Park, ID; three daughters, Shana Carlson, Salt Lake City; Mindy (Richard) Plumlee, Layton; Shelby Tracy, Layton, five grandchildren, mother, Wanda Tracy, Ashton, ID; two brothers, Ted (Kelli) Tracy, Idaho Falls, ID; Richard (Becky) Tracy, Ashton, ID; and one sister, Mary Wirkus, Idaho Falls.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield.
