OGDEN a€" Lewis Earl White, Sr., 93, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at a local care center of causes incident to age.

He was born April 17, 1914 in Ogden. He later served his country with the U.S. Army.

Lew married Lucille Holley. They were later divorced. He married Leila "Tiny" Keller and she preceded him in death.

He worked as a cook while serving with the Army and later owned and operated Pine View Inn and Lew White CafAC..

Lew loved fishing, hunting and yardwork. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Trailer Park where he was a member for many years.

Surviving are one son and one daughter, Lew Jr. (Susan) White, Ogden; Gayle (Jim) Acton, St. George; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife Leila "Tiny", his brother Jay, and his grandson Curtis White.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. a Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
