Lewis “Grant” Probst

Lewis "Grant" Probst, 94, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at his home.

He was born in Ogden, Utah to Edward August and Margaret Watkins Probst.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Corps during World War II.

On April 2, 1947, he married Donna Butler in Logan, Utah. She preceded him in death July 25, 2011.

He retired from HAFB as a welder.

Family was most important to him and he loved vacations.

He is survived by his children, Jeffrey (Tena) Probst, Perry; Bradley Probst, Ogden; Pamela (Dennis) Faulkner, Ogden; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

We thank Hospice for Utah for their excellent care.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
