Liane Christensen, 73, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Heritage Park Care Center.

She was born September 6, 1937 in Tremonton, Utah to Floyd Silver and Ruby Hansen Christensen.

Liane graduated from Bear River High School in Garland.

She served a mission in the Great Lakes Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Liane worked at Ogden Regional Hospital and McKay-Dee Hospital in housekeeping, Wolfe''s Sporting Goods, Hunt''s Cannery and the Union Station. She volunteered her time at Deseret Industries and The Step House.

She enjoyed singing and had taken voice lessons. She loved watching movies and television. She had a passion for reading and had three full bookshelves of books. She loved and took great delight in children and cats.

Liane is survived by her brother, Von "Sage" Christensen, Salt Lake City; step-siblings, Wesley Dansie, Riverside, CA; Barbara (Ron) Millard, Sandy; Paul Dansie, Austin, TX; half-siblings, Phyllis (Dale) Rogerson Roy; Janice (Pete) Christensen, Brigham City; Juanita (Stanley) Willson, Elmo; and Jay (Evelyn) Christensen, Layton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Dorothy Jenkins Christensen and an infant brother, Rodney.

Graveside services will be held Monday, March 15th at 2:00 p.m. at the Tremonton City Cemetery.

The family will meet friends for a viewing on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
