Leisa Bierwolf, 62, passed away peacefully with family surrounding her. She was born on August 13, 1962, in Ogden UT.
Leisa dedicated many years of her life working as a TO at Hill Air Force Base, where she formed cherished relationships with her fellow colleagues, often expressing how much she loved the ladies working alongside with. Her commitment extended beyond her career, as she actively contributed to the American Legion, participating in fundraisers, Easter hunts, and various community events that showcased her generous spirit.
A proud graduate of Layton High School, Leisa carried with her a zest for life that was infectious. She was known for her fun and loving personality, always willing to give selflessly to others—"she would give you the shirt off her back," a sentiment echoed by those who knew her.
Her hobbies and interests included cross-stitching, camping, and spending quality time with friends and family. Leisa found joy in the simple pleasures of life and took every opportunity to create lasting memories with her loved ones. Her children and grandchildren were her entire world.
Among her accomplishments, Leisa faced significant health battles with immense courage. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 1998 and again in 2016, she displayed unwavering strength and determination. Her recent diagnosis of liver cancer in 2023 marked another challenging chapter in her life. Despite the struggles, she fought valiantly and remained proud of the fierce battle she waged against her illness.
Leisa leaves behind her loving husband, Pete Bierwolf, and her children, Trisha Drakos, Travis Wilkson, Tyler Wilkson, Jeremy Bierwolf, and Jenny Bierwolf, along with her cherished grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Scott Divin and sisters Shelley Lindquist and Kim Cook. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, who surely welcomed her with open arms.
As we remember Leisa, we celebrate a life filled with love, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to family. Her legacy will endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
