They were sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple in August 1980.
Lila and Rodney spent 14 retirement years living in a cabin they had built together in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho. Out of town visitors were always greeted with Mom''s famous fish-fry.

During World War II, Lila was a an award winning Window Trimmer for JC Penney''s and was involved in the war bond drive.
She loved doing LDS Temple name extraction, and temple ordinance work. She also served in many ward auxiliaries.
