Lila Lofthouse Knudtson

Lila Lofthouse Knudtson, 76, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2009 at McKay a€"Dee Hospital .

She was born May 27, 1933 in Paradise, Utah to Van L. Lofthouse.

On January 12, 1952, Lila married Duane L. Knudtson in Ogden, Utah. They enjoyed several winters in Phoenix, Arizona before Duane passed away March 21, 1993.

She retired from Hill Air Force Base after 35 years of service.

Lila enjoyed quilting and reading good books.

She is survived by a son, David (Jane) Knudtson, Emerado, ND; three daughters, Debborah (Larry) Pilgrim, West Valley City; Dorella (Ed) Hanford, Hooper; Dee (Terry) Strasburg, Roy; nine grandchildren; and three sisters, Lola Rogerson, Rinda Larsen and Marie Patterson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

The family would like to thank the McKay-Dee Hospital doctors and staff for their compassionate care.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.

Friends and family may call Saturday from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
