Lila J. Puls
April 11, 1925 ~ August 28, 2016
Lila was born on April 11, 1925 to James T. Jackson and Fannie Ellen Larson in Spring City, Utah. She was raised and educated in Ephraim, Utah and she was always proud to say she attended Snow College. Moving to Ogden with her friends in 1944, she worked at the old navy base in Clearfield. There she met the love of her life, Paul Puls. They were married on August 24, 1945.
After a few years spent living in New Jersey, mom and dad returned to Washington Terrace in 1953. This is where they raised and watched over their family for the next 63 years. During this time period she worked out of her basement as owner and operator of the Terrace Beauty Shop.
Lila was blessed with two sons, Steve (Debbie) and Stuart (Dorothy) Puls, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. She loved each and every one of them and always placed them on the top of her priority list.
She loved to travel and regardless of where her trips might have taken her, the bus rides to Wendover, Mesquite, and Laughlin were always her favorite. After winning she would always take her points and treat the kids to a Friday night dinner buffet in Wendover.
