Lillian Janell Poole

Lillian Janell Poole, 80, our deeply loved mother, Granny, aunt and friend, peacefully passed away Sunday February 27, 2022 surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born on January 25, 1942 to Althea and James H. Tooley in Montello, Nevada. She is survived by her two sons, Kevin and Jeff Poole and one daughter, Nova (Ron) Lott; brother, Jim (Marilyn) Tooley; sister, JoAnn Bryant and her best friends of 46 years, Barbara Duncan and Jean Francom. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jack Tooley.
Janell adored her 11 grandchildren and loved being a great-Granny to 12 children. She will be remembered for her wonderful Easter Egg hunting parties, lasagna and sloppy Joes. Her beautiful yard radiated her loved for gardening and she traveled to may many countries with her traveling buddy, Sandra Vaughn. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
She graduated from Ogden High School and Steven-Henagar’s Business College. Retiring from Weber State University Library in July 2004. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir and was involved in many church activities.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Service times have been changed from those that were shown in the Standard Examiner.
