Lillian Scott Lagan, "Scotty", passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's.
Scotty was born on June 17,1929 in Radford, Virginia to Charles Wesley Scott and Blanche Ross. Scotty graduated from Radford University with a degree in Education. While teaching in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, she met and married the love of her life, Randall Robert Lagan "Randy", on February 14,1959 in Shalimar, Florida and shared 53 beautiful years together.Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Southern California where Scotty was a teacher and librarian.
Scotty loved living life to its fullest and was dedicated to providing her children with amazing opportunities in sports, travel and the outdoors. Scotty was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and worshiped at Washington Heights Baptist Church.
Scotty is survived by her son, Scott (Andrea) Lagan; her daughter, Kimberly Rodell; her grandchildren: Carina (Nathan) French, Andrew (Lesley) Faletto, Alex Kohler, Madeline Kohler, Sarah Lagan, and Nicholas Lagan; and her great granddaughter Ariana French.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
