 Lillie Jean Stewart

Lillie Jean Stewart the only child of John H. Love and Arlene Williams, was born on September 30, 1952 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Lillie graduated from Shaw High School in Cleveland, Ohio in 1970. She would later move to Colorado Springs, Colorado and eventually settled in Northern Utah living in both Clearfield and Layton.

Lillie loved spending time with her four boys supporting their extracurricular endeavors when they were younger by attending basketball games, football games and music concerts. At home Lillie loved to cook and spend time with her family in front of the tv, laughing and watching scary movies, classic black and white films and westerns. She also enjoyed fishing and relaxing outside in the summer.

Lillie retired from the IRS in 2017 where she worked for 32 years starting in the mailroom and finishing as a tax auditor.

Lillie sadly passed away on the evening of February 24th at the age of 69. She leaves behind her husband Darryl Stewart Sr. and four sons: Michael Davis, Lawrence Davis, Darryl Stewart Jr. and Dominic Stewart. Lillie was a proud grandmother to Elijah and Evelyn Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Arlene as well as her daughter Leslie Davis.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary 1867 No, Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah. Friends may visit with family Tuesday. March 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
