Lily S. Endow

Lily S. Endow OGDEN – Lily Yuriko Sakaniwa Endow, 90, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 15, 2009 at McKay-Dee Hospital. She was born February 25, 1918 in Gardena, California, a daughter of Kurawo and Kimiko Nishiyama Sakaniwa. On September 24, 1939, Lily married Otto Otoshichi Endow in Terminal Island, California. Otto preceded her in death on September 25, 1980. She retired from Utah Tailoring following many years of service. Lily was a dear sister, friend, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was beloved and treasured by all. We will all miss her dearly. Surviving are her sons, Henry (Abbie), Gene (Traci), and Otto Jr. (Kathy), all of Ogden; her daughters, Kimi (JR) Sato-Hines, Layton; Maye (Jack) Bothwell, Ogden; Rosie (Hal) Wagenet, Willits, CA; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. Lily was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, one sister and one grandson, Tomio Marcus Endow.
