Linda Jones Adams

Linda Jones Adams, our loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on January 28, 2022, surrounded by her husband and children.

She was born on January 9, 1964 to Willard and Trudy Jones, in Cedar City, Utah. Cedar City was always home to Linda. Growing up, she enjoyed singing in various choirs and was an award-winning soloist. She also played the flute and participated in marching band.

She graduated from Cedar High School and attended Southern Utah State College, where she met her husband, Scott Adams. Linda and Scott were sealed for time and all eternity in the St. George Utah Temple on June 14, 1985.

Scott and Linda have four children, three daughters and one son. Linda dedicated herself to raising her children, always willing to sacrifice her own comfort and happiness for theirs. She delighted in supporting her children and grandchildren in their various activities. Those who knew Linda best knew that her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Linda will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her family, as well as her beautiful smile and infectious laugh.

Linda was a true disciple of Jesus Christ. She emulated Him in her quiet service to others. She was always willing to give of her time and abilities to friends and neighbors. Linda’s faith in Christ and love for His gospel were evident in the way she lived her life. She was a true example of charity and pure Christlike love.

Linda is survived by her husband, Scott, her children, Emily Richter, Heather Bess, Melissa Barocio, Michael Adams, seven grandchildren, and her four older siblings, Robert, Alan, Jay, and Carolyn. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Trudy Jones.
