Our loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Linda Lou Rigby Bergk returned home to both her earthly and Heavenly Parents on June 3, 2022. She was born on June 11, 1950, to Alfred Wright and Lucille Bone Rigby. Along with her brother, Hal, she grew up in Kaysville, Utah surrounded by a loving extended Rigby and Bone family.
She graduated from Davis High School in 1968. On August 10, 1968, she married Juergen H. Bergk. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they had five children. They now have 13 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, with two more on the way.
Linda loved making the world a more beautiful place. She loved to decorate, plant flowers, make crafts, cross stitch, make and collect dolls, and put little personalized touches on things. Everything from planning a meal to wrapping a present had a little extra touch of fancy. She was a phenomenal gift giver and loved being able to give things to those around her. She also loved to express herself through writing letters to those she cared for. She loved movies and mysteries. She loved late nights and even later mornings. She loved many types of music and laughing with those she loved.
Linda’s life ambition was to have a family. She put her heart into her husband and children. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings throughout her life. She was a member of a Primary and Relief Society Presidency. She taught Primary and served as an Activity Day leader.
