Linda Wilson Blakeley

ROY a€" Linda Blakeley, 63, passed away Monday, May 10, 2010 at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center in Salt Lake City.

She was born November 7, 1946 in Ogden, a daughter of John Wilson and Dorothy McGibbin Wilson. She attended Bonneville High School.

Linda married her high school sweetheart, Blaine Eugene Blakeley, in June of 1964. They made their home in Roy. They had two sons, Troy and Robert Blakeley. She also raised her granddaughter, Alisha Blakeley.

She was a mother and a friend to all. Linda loved camping and spending time with her family and animals. She also loved talking on the phone to friends, going to Wendover, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by two sons, Troy, of Clearfield; Robert and Chrisana of West Point; two brothers, Rick and Scott, both of South Ogden; one sister, Leslie, of Riverdale; her father, John and stepmother, Larene six grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her mother, Dorothy.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may visit with the family at the mortuary on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
