Linda Shirley Lane Crotwell

Linda Shirley Lane Crotwell was born on November 11, 1962 in Ogden UT, and passed away from a sudden illness January 4, 2022. Her parents, Michael J. and S. Maurine Lane raised her and her two siblings in Roy, UT where she attended Municipal Elementary, Roy Jr. High and graduated from Roy High School.

Growing up on the Wasatch Front, she loved the many family camping and skiing trips they took, along with the Coleman stove chili lunches our mother served on the tailgate of the family station wagon. She loved horses and for several years was a member of the Roy Rhythym Riders Junior Posse.

She married Lonnie Crotwell and they had two sons, Kevin and Bryan, the absolute joy of her life. When Linda and Lonnie divorced, she raised those boys alone and all of us are proud at what fine young men they became.

Linda is survived by her two sons, Kevin and Bryan; her father, Michael J. Lane; her brother and sister, Michael B. Lane (Lisa) and Susan M. Nelson (Gregg), two nieces and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother.

The family will be holding a private get together to remember her. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
