Linda Fleming

April 22, 1966 — July 25, 2023

Bountiful

Linda Deanne Fleming was born to Rita Jean Donaldson and Robert Marvin Donaldson on April 22, 1966, in Westminster, California. She passed away on July 25, 2023, peacefully in the comfort of her home in Bountiful, Utah after a long battle with brain tumors and health

complications. She is the fourth child of 6 brothers and sisters.

Linda often went by DeeDee and many knew her by that name. When she was young, she loved playing with her siblings and doing lots of different extracurricular activities. She loved sports. In her youth she loved playing soccer and doing all sorts of athletic things. As a young

adult she received her bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT in Psychology in 1989. She also earned a master's degree in Academic Advising from Kansas State's Global Campus in 2020.

Linda married Michael Courtney Fleming in the Los Angeles Temple on April 23, 1988. They became parents to two sons and one daughter, Courtney, Harris, and Emma (Austin). They raised their family in many different states including California, Chicago, Washington, Arizona, and Utah. They made many close friends everywhere they went. Linda had a special way to touch people no matter where she went. Linda and Michael were married for 35 years. Their love was pure and compassionate.

Linda was service-oriented whether it came to her family, friends, or complete strangers. She loved her family and the joy that they brought her.  She had the deepest desire to love everyone and make sure that everyone felt the pure love of Christ. She loved Michael with all her heart and the tender relationship they shared was seen by everyone. She found great enjoyment in helping others find their educational and career paths as she had found beauty in her own paths. She loved reading, listening to church music, watching movies, and visiting with her

family and friends.

Linda was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her life can be characterized by her strong faith and the pure love that she has for her Savior. Anyone who met her was able to see the light that glowed inside of her. She always had the ability to comfort those who needed comfort and mourn with those who mourned. She epitomized service and never allowed her own trials to stop herself from loving others.

She is preceded in death by her mom (Rita) and son (Courtney). She is survived by her dad (Robert) and stepmom (Vickie). In addition, she is survived by her siblings Rob, Laurel (Nelson), Melodie (Mark), Cheri, and Michael (Robyn).

The love that has been shared by all who knew her has been felt deeply and she loves every one of you.
