Linda Jean Hicks, a remarkable soul who graced this world with her warm presence, has left us to embrace eternal peace. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1944, Linda's journey was one of profound significance and unwavering dedication.

With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences from Weber State University, Linda delved into a career that reflected her intellectual prowess and tenacity. Her professional odyssey saw her navigate the realms of civil service as an agent with the IRS and as a computer engineer with the Department of Defense. Her commitment to duty and excellence shone brightly, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working alongside her.

Beyond her professional achievements, Linda was a soul of many passions. From the thrill of big and small game hunting to the precision of competitive skeet shooting, she approached every endeavor with zeal and skill. Camping under the starlit sky with her beloved family brought her immense joy, though she would "tolerate" a day spent fishing amidst laughter and shared moments.

Linda leaves behind a legacy cherished by all who knew her. Her surviving family members – her devoted husband Robert Lee Hicks, her loving daughters Jennifer Jo Neil and Terri Lynn Bassett, and her four grandchildren – stand as a testament to the love and care she bestowed upon them.

In the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to be touched by her kindness and grace, Linda Jean Hicks will forever remain a beacon of strength and love. May she find solace in the eternal embrace as her spirit continues to illuminate our lives with fond memories and enduring inspiration. Rest in peace, dear Linda.
