Linda Jean Lux

“Little Linda” Layton – Linda Lux, 57, passed away May 31, 2008, due to complications from surgery. She was born February 12, 1951 in Ogden, Utah where she grew up. Graduating from Ogden High School in 1969, and attended Weber State College for two years. She went to work at Hill Air Force Base. In 1990, her and her children moved to Layton. In 1993 she went to work at DDO until she had to take a medical disability. She then stayed home taking disability retirement. The past years were very hard for her because of her health but she always did all her body would allow. During her life she made many friends and was one of the nicest, giving people you could ever meet. She was very caring and supportive of all who knew her. She enjoyed decorating, sewing, needlework, and many other crafts. Her dream was to own her own decorating business and make her own designs, but because of her health she was never able to do so. She also enjoyed golfing with her father and husband and playing in tournaments with their friends. Her family always came first and she always pushed herself to do all she was able to do for them. They will deeply miss her. Linda loved her grandkids and enjoyed them so much that each day you would see her youth return as she would play with them. Linda is survived by her mother LaVona Stegen, Ogden, husband, James Lux, Layton. Her children, Carolyn (Brody) Bannister, Layton; Kevin (Skye), Roy; Trisha (Jake), Roy; Jimmy Lux, Ogden; and her six grandchildren who she loved more than life itself, Siara and Aspen Bannister, Jaden & Tayzhia Wade, Toby and Kleb Blackner. Also surviving are her siblings, Don (Barbara) Stegen, Redlands CA., Kathy Sharp of Roy and her five nieces and many aunts and Uncles and Cousins who meant so much to her. She is preceded in death by her father Don Stegen who we know has been waiting patiently for her to join him, and her beloved dog Snowball. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Roy Midland Stake Center at 3649 W. 4800 S. Roy, Utah. Friends may call Thursday, June 5, 2008 between 12:00 pm and 1:45pm at the church. Interment at the Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
