Linda Helen Nielsen Potter

Linda Helen Nielsen Potter passed on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Layton IHC Hospital. She suffered with pancreatic cancer for a year, but suffers no more.

She was born July 9, 1947, her parents are Roy and Glenda Nielsen. She is the third child of a family of four children. She has an older brother Norman Nielsen (Roseanne), an older sister Phyllis Webb (Peter) and younger sister Cheryl Colyar (Monty).

Linda married Kirby Ian Potter in the Manti Temple on June 2, 1966. They have been residents of Syracuse for the last 49 Years.  They were blessed with seven daughters: Neely Sorenson (Matthew), Rachel Andersen (Brian), Sarah Martinez, Alison Poll (Bart), Leah McKay (Brandon), Emily Ryan, and Lissa Nelson (Joseph).  Linda and Kirby have 27 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bluff Road Chapel, 2500 S. Bluff Rd, Syracuse. Friends may visit family Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Lindquist Syracuse Mortuary 869 S. 2000 W. Syracuse and 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the service at the church.  Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
