Linda Ann Martin Skidmore

July 18, 1951 ~ December 14, 2016

Linda Ann Skidmore loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and aunt passed peacefully into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on December 14 2016 surrounded by love.

She was born on July 18, 1951 to Keith and Norma Stanger Martin the fifth of six children.  She was raised in Layton and attended schools in Davis County.

She was an extremely hard worker, working two or three jobs at a time including Clover Club Foods, Martin Bros. Tire Center with her brothers, Bob and Mike, and Clearfield Job Corps.

She became a lifelong Kansas City Chief fan while living in Kansas with her sweetheart Robert “Bob” McLeod.

Linda was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints enjoying many years teaching Primary.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Sherelle Hamblin (Dylan), two grandchildren and one great-grandchild, sister, Donna  Warren (Elmer), brothers, Steven (Karen) Martin and Michael Martin; and many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Kenneth and Robert Martin.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Fox Creek Ward, 201 West 1675 North, Layton.  No public viewing will be held.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.   Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
