Linda Mahas Snyder

Linda Mahas Snyder, 68, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She fought a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer for two years.
She was born July 15, 1948 in Ogden, Utah to George and Lucille Hope Mahas. She graduated from Weber High School and also Steven Henagers with a Paralegal degree in 1994.
In August of 1968, Linda married John Snyder in Ogden. Together they raised their four children and later divorced.
She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Linda retired from Hill Air Force Base.
She enjoyed traveling with her best friend, Sherrie and also her three sisters, but being in Disneyland with her family was her ultimate happy place. She also enjoyed the great outdoors, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling and camping. She enjoyed scrapbooking with her girls preserving her most precious memories with her family.
Linda is survived by her children, Scott (Nikole) Snyder, Uintah; Brian (Aimee) Snyder, Roy; Michelle (Mike) Burton, Roy; April (Travis) Kunz, Plain City; 18 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one on the way; and siblings, Gary Mahas, Malta, ID; Kathy Johnson, Grantsville; Lori Knight, Corinne; Teddy Anderson, Plain City; and Leslie Westerman, Roy. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and one sister, Janis Mahas.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 East 2850 North.
